A trip down memory lane
It’s been a while since we last published in our journal as the past few months have been a roller coaster of ups, downs, twists and turns. One minute you’re planning a project, the next it’s put on-hold, one minute you feel that you are on top of things and suddenly a curve ball comes along and you have to adapt to a new norm, a new way of working and requests and issues that seemed unimaginable in the past.
In times of uncertainty, not only is it important to be positive and look forward to the great things yet to come, but it is also important to look back and appreciate all that you have achieved throughout the years. In this post we are going to take a trip down memory lane and look at some milestones, projects and lessons we’ve learned throughout the years.
Set up in 2003, it is fair to say that we have become an established digital product agency in Malta, focusing on digital products mainly website, mobile and web applications and digital marketing. We have grown into a team of 14 highly dedicated individuals, all from different parts of the world and all experts in their respective fields.
When clients approached us with requests for loyalty platforms in around 2014, we were unable to find a reliable off the shelf solution that we could plug into. This is what pushed us to build our very own platform, Loyale.
In hindsight, the Loyale project was much bigger than we had ever imagined and us being us, we wanted to build the perfect solution for our clients with endless features and functionalities. We did not want Loyale to be just a loyalty platform, we developed it into a marketing engine that has registered over 300,000 users in Malta and internationally and we are working on numerous leads to continue its expansion.
Lava Rewards, an app we developed for Alf Mizzi & Sons Ltd, which is built on Loyale, has this year been nominated and shortlisted for ”Best App” in the Tech.mt Ebusiness Awards. Apart from Alf Mizzi & Sons Ltd, Loyale is also used by a number of several other reputable companies including, Hudson Group, Costa Coffee, Alajmo and Panino Giusto amongst others.
Another product we have been working on is our thinktank. This is our very own CMS system. At the time thinktank was launched, the version of WordPress as we know it today was very far off and we were not comfortable suggesting it as a CMS. Today it is a proven CMS and clients have increasingly been requesting it as a base for their website. We listened and we adapted. We have always been humble in our approach to customers needs and believe that technology is an enabler not a differentiator.
Over the years, the digital landscape has evolved drastically and Think has always made sure to move with the times in order to strengthen our position as a leading player in the digital market. As a team we undergo monthly workshops and attend courses regularly, to enrich our knowledge and ensure our clients will always receive the very best product available on the market. Our approach to business has always been to prioritise quality over quantity, as is evident in our work. As a result, we can guarantee that all our projects are carried out with passion and the greatest attention to detail, whilst at the same time maintaining a great customer relationship.
