Digitise Your Business Scheme
The EU and the Maltese government are dedicated to supporting businesses of all sizes in their digital transformation. At Think, we’re excited to share details about the Digitise Your Business Scheme, which provides substantial funding to help businesses thrive in an increasingly digital world.
Funding Breakdown:
Micro Enterprises: Receive grants covering up to 50% of eligible costs for digital investments, with a maximum of €10,000 per investment. Businesses in Gozo qualify for an additional 10% aid intensity.
Small, Medium, and Large Enterprises: This scheme offers grants covering up to 50% of eligible costs for investments in Malta and 60% for investments in Gozo. The maximum grant is a substantial €120,000 with an additional 7% flat rate for indirect costs. Please note that De Minimis regulations apply, with a cap of €300,000 over three years.
Prioritised Industries: The government is spotlighting key sectors by giving priority consideration to businesses in manufacturing and tourism.
Eligible Investments: The scheme covers a wide range, including:
- E-commerce websites with payment gateways
- Commercial Off the shelf software and custom software
- Digital Solutions
- Hardware upgrades
- Digital analytics tools
- Cybersecurity systems
- Cloud computing solutions
- Network infrastructure
Application Process
